If you really think there is no value in it for you – don’t attend. I am certain that you could learn a lot in the class and that 100$ is a steal for a full day class with Matthew.Beyond that it will also be very valuable for networking and meeting other local geeks and github users. But it is all up to you.

I’m a intermediate-level Git user who uses Github fairly often. Would it be possible to find out what topics will be covered so that people in my position can assess if the session is worth the $200 price tag?
